Spanakopita

Among the great classics of Greek cuisine we have Spanakopia: a rustic filling of spinach, spring onion and the inevitable Feta.
In particular, it is a real savory pie cooked in a pan; the dough is often made with phyllo dough, but tradition has it that it is made with a special dough very rich in flour which increases its consistency.

This rustic has a fantastic flavor and I also often eat it during my savory breakfasts accompanied by a coffee frappe. Honestly, I don't prefer it paired with a lunch or dinner, but it's more for a savory snack or breakfast, it's not very light like rustic and therefore I prefer not to mix it with other dishes..
